Russian women are easily offended if you aren’t intelligent enough to hold a decent conversation with them. Some men learned this early on. Some learned that Ukraine, Belarus and Russia are 3 very different countries and you should not think they are the same, let alone say that to one of the women you wish to date. There are a lot of differences including traditions and cultures, and can be the start of a whole bunch of misunderstandings.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some Russian women here may look great, but that doesn't mean they are beautiful "inside". On the 'outside' though, women in Russia take a great deal of time making sure they look good. In Moscow, many girls will get up at 5 to spend approximately 2 hours getting ready before they leave home. They will dress to impress not only men, but women also. Women will eye each other up and compare where they stand. Most eat well and go to the gym, so, yes, Russian women look really beautiful.

We heard that many dating agencies tell their male members, the truth that all women in Russia keep dreaming about a husband from the West and they will marry any man who will come and take them to his Western paradise.

If you ask: is this really true? What’s wrong with Russian men? The answer of these agencies will be: All the men in Russia are drug addicts, alcoholics, violators, etc. They can’t love, support and care; Russian women want to run away from this country. This is a big illusion.

We don’t say that all men in Russia are ideal. But the social issues and problems here are the same as in the USA, Canada, Germany or Mexico. Many men coming to visit Russia are very surprised. One of our men members told us that he didn’t expect to see so many men here. And more than that, he didn’t expect them to be good looking and well dressed. Moreover, many of them have money enough to satisfy their women's needs. And of course most of them can satisfy ladies in social and sexual needs also.

So the first truth a foreign man has to know is: he is definitely not better than Russian men, he has to compete with them and it is a very tough competition.

The ugly truth is some dishonest Russian dating agencies employ girls to write emails and send messages to men at a rate of about 2 dollars per mail. Most of these women speak good English, German, Spanish and French to write romantic emails. Moreover these dating sites publish photos of Russian women who are not really on their sites (In best cases they purchase these photos from Russian modeling agencies, or just take photos of woman on streets and add them to their sites without any permission).

Also don't be naive and think that the (gifts) like flowers that you may be convince to send over these agencies service ever reach your woman. The money is divided 50:50 between the Russian marriage agency and the woman. If you ever meet women at arranged meets, the girls will be offered more money to stay for the duration of the meeting. So, you see from this that the common trend is: The women here (like almost everyone else, but at least the women here can use their good looks and attraction to get it) are in it for money and definitely not real dating.

At the age of 22-25 (just after university or even before it), if young Russian women are not already married, many of them will be looking for serious relationship and marriage. Getting married later than that is odd and unwelcome for Russian women. If you meet a good lady, do not be pushy, accept some relatively different views to your own, some weird superstitions (for example: Do not put an empty bottle on the table you're sitting at or do not sit on the corner of a table, etc) and be prepared to pay for everything.

Also remember the words "I love you" are something that aren’t simply thrown around by these Russian women, and they will only say it to you when they truly and really mean it. Don’t try and throw the love thing in very soon. They won’t like it and it just makes you come across desperate. In addition, don’t ever say "I love you" if you don’t mean it. Or if you aren’t sure. Why would you break a Russian woman's heart like that? Remember she is not stupid and she will know as soon as she meets you.
